摘要: In a population-based study, three groups of individuals were examined: 334 hypertensive subjects (group 1) received 7 years intervention therapy by Hypertension Team (HyT); 418 2) simply observed with blood pressure (BP) measurement on demand and given lifestyle advice; 437 3) had no contact HyT. was then withdrawn, leaving patients to their general practitioners. After phase A, BP significantly lower than baseline in group 1 (-14.2%, P < .01) 2 (-12.4%, .01), whereas it unchanged 3. Cerebrovascular (but not coronary) events less (fatal 2.7%, nonfatal 3.7%) (7.2% 5.2%, respectively, both .001 v or 3 (8.3% 6.9%, 1). During further observation (phase B), between-group differences mortality observed. We conclude that simple improves control, but is needed reduce the incidence stroke.
