摘要: Tissue samples taken before and during the radical irradiation of squamous cell carcinoma head neck region were studied by light electron microscopic examination. Radiation-induced cellular changes which nuclear atypia was most pronounced. The tumor invasion pattern remained unchanged but number mitoses decreased. lymphocytic infiltration increased at beginning therapy (from 10-30 Gy) decreased end radiotherapy. amount neutrofils keratinization almost level, intracellular filaments desmosomes slightly in study. morphologic features pointing a more undifferentiated direction are considered to be due damage rather than aggressive behavior cells. This is agreement with decrease radiation-induced arrest cells G2 phase. These might related disappearance tumors irradiation. leukocyte compartment seen take part destruction removal debris.
