摘要: Abstract High Nb-containing TiAl porous and gradient alloys were synthesized by elemental powder metallurgy (EPM). The effects of size on pore structure gas permeability investigated. It is found that pores are interconnected skeletons consist typical γ-TiAl/α 2 -Ti 3 Al fully lamellar microstructure for Ti–48Al–6Nb alloys. With the fining particle Ti, Nb powders, porosity decrease. Otherwise, increases almost linearly when from 17% to 52% 3.18 μm 26.69 μm. A good agreement shown between simulations capillary model results actual permeability. In addition, fabricated using different sizes constrained sintering process, a prediction relationship coating thickness was discussed. Results this study indicate potential applications in microfiltration development tailoring coating.
