摘要: The fluorescence interference contrast (FLIC) effect prevents the use of techniques to probe continuity and fluidity supported lipid bilayers on reflective materials due a lack detectable fluorescence. Here we show that adding nanostructures onto surfaces locally confer certain distance between deposited fluorophores reflecting surface enables detection nanostuctures. consist either nanoparticles or epitaxial nanowires directly grown substrate are designed such they can support bilayer. This simple method increases signal sufficiently enable bilayer observe recovery after photobleaching in order assess formation any surface.
