摘要: Abstract Migration of protein between cytoplasm and cell nucleus during different periods interphase has been studied in mouse fibroblasts vitro (L-cells) by a combination autoradiographic time lapse cinematographic methods. After pulse incubation 10 min 3 H-leucine, the cells were incubated H-leucine-free medium for various lengths time. A rapid 30 per cent decrease concentration labeled was observed first hr, followed only slight next 2 hr. This not associated with any similar total cellular as means 14 C-leucine, indicating that there is redistribution within rather than breakdown or secretion from protein, synthesized cytoplasm. further supported C-leucine data showing relative increase nuclear content (nuclear/ cellular) prolonged. The course this very to above cytoplasmic label, two processes are parts same phenomenon, namely migration site synthesis also supports previous observations most L-cell takes place Interphase analysis showed migrated throughout entire period. It could be concluded compartments reversible type G1 not, however, clear whether all involved period DNA moved some simultaneously opposite direction.
