摘要: Graphite reinforced hollow epoxy macrospheres (GR-HEMS) and glass microspheres (HGMS) were used to prepare three phase syntactic foam (ESF) using “molding method”, the physical mechanical properties of ESF also studied investigated. An innovative “rolling ball method” was implemented in GR-HEMS preparation process. The performance tests show that higher stacking volume fraction, lower thickness, diameter, HGMS density are beneficial reducing ESF, but effects five factors on strength opposite. Therefore, order obtain “high low density” composites, various should be considered achieve a balance density. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) shows can make graphite form spherical x-y network throughout macrosphere wall, which have great compressive strength. (450 kg/m3, 20.75 MPa) withstand 2075 meters water pressure provide 550 kg/m3 buoyancy, give some advice buoyancy material deepwater oil exploration.
