摘要: L-cysteine molecules dramatically enhance the photoluminescence of colloidal CdSe/ZnSe quantum dots (i.e., (CTAB/TOPO)QD). Based on our spectroscopic studies temporal variations in QD yields as well situ infrared spectral features QDs, we propose that adsorption and rearrangement at QD-water interface induces observed unusual enhancement yield. Upon addition to (CTAB/TOPO)QD solution, particles is driven by formation a kinetically favorable intermediate species, which formed coordination thiol groups surface Cd atoms. The above species then reacts further form thermodynamically stable probably involves both amine surface. Additional comparison using (MPA)QD other small ligands L-alanine, L-serine, MPA) confirmed proposed mechanism (CTAB/TOPO)QD-water interfaces. In these structures, also dramatic QY this study induced structural organization CTAB interface, improves homogeneity self-organization interfacial molecules.
