摘要: The magnetospheric response to the solar-wind input, as represented by time-series measurements of auroral electrojet (AE) index, has been examined using phase-space reconstruction techniques. system was found behave a low-dimensional chaotic with fractal dimension 3.6 and Kolmogorov entropy less than 0.2/min. These indicate that dynamics can be adequately described four independent variables, corresponding intrinsic time scale is order 5 min. relevance results modeling discussed.
