摘要: Abstract Objective Few studies have investigated the effects produced by combinations of polysaccharides and chemotherapeutic drugs in cancer treatment. We hypothesized that a combination (COP) from Lentinus edodes Tricholoma matsutake would improve efficacy 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)-mediated inhibition H22 cell growth. Methods Mice were injected cells then treated with either 5-FU, (PTM), (PL), PTM + PL, 5-FU PTM, or COP. The tumor weight volume, splenic CD4 CD8 T frequencies, determined. Additionally, natural killer (NK) cytotoxic lymphocyte (CTL) activities assessed serum levels necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), Interleukin-2 (IL-2), Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) measured. Results Compared mice control, groups, COP showed: (a) significantly reduced volume ( P Conclusion Polysaccharides could enhance 5-FU-mediated growth inhibition.
