摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes insulin receptor and its substrate. It discusses the two earliest molecular events, binding activation of kinase phosphorylation subsequent signal transduction by substrate IRS-1. Defining these events has helped add a whole new dimension to understanding action. At same time, studies defining at end action cascade, such as glucose transport regulation gene expression, have also begun clarify specific components required for signaling events. Although black box remains between early late in action, it is becoming smaller.
