摘要: Citrus is one of the most ancient fruit crops cultivated in world. For many countries, citrus production an important source revenues. However, despite richness worldwide, yields are constantly threatened by diseases that cause serious economic and social impacts to growers consumers. One such example canker, a disease affects all commercial varieties for which there no cure. Currently, control measures canker restricted application copper-based compounds elimination infected trees prevent pathogen spreading field. new alternatives this being developed, spanning through transgenic plants innovative chemicals biological control. New genome editing approaches repertoire plant defense-related genes have been exploited produce lineages more tolerant X. citri. In addition, series molecules tested not only inhibit citri growth but also boost immune system suppress progression. review, we provide state art use today, highlighting their utility drawbacks commenting on novel strategies better disease.
