摘要: In 1995 Furtado et al performed the first domino transplantation using a donor liver with familial amyloid polyneuropathy (FAP), thereby increasing pool of donors. Our experience showed that onset FAP symptoms occurs earlier in some patients. Patients acquired by are candidates for retransplantation to minimize progression symptoms. Liver is considered be high-risk procedure and has lower survival compared transplantation. We evaluated risk patients FAP. did retrospective analysis these based on records perioperative data. From 2004 we carried out 81 transplantations, which 10 were submitted because The better outcomes this group lead us think not associated same risks graft failure.
