摘要: The repair of wounds the cornea made by removing full thickness epithelium was studied in mice, both vivo and organ cultures. Repair 1 to 1.4 mm diameter complete 12 16 hr. Elongated epithelial cells were arranged radially about margins these small circular wounds. In large, irregularly shaped wounds, frequently lay with their long axes at a tangent wound margin. On this arrangement, leading lamellae numberous short filopodia present, but they not on cells. tangential orientation cells, usually seen convex parts margins, believed be associated arrest advance areas. Participation peripheral movement evident India ink markers placed them also piling up incisions across direction epithelium. concept rolling over each other edge supported. They appeared move as mass without significant changes relative positions.
