摘要: The subcellular localization and thermally-induced transition of adenylate cyclase activity were studied in a thermotolerant strain Tetra-hymena pyriformis. A close relationship was present between the cell growth cycle. Maximum found early stationary phase cells. Adenylate primarily associated with surface membrane, pellicle, pellicle membrane measured as function temperature. Arrhenius plots its to be triphasic. marked change occurred at about 28°C small discontinuities around 15°C. Freeze-cleavage electron microscopic observations membranes revealed that membrane-intercalated particles began form aggregation clusters decreasing temperatures, below point (28°C) remarkable separation formed. These results from enzymatic morphological studies suggest may reflect altered physical states lipid caused by temperature changes.
