摘要: We study if homebuyers in Tucson, Arizona care about the condition of natural habitats and they have preferences between manmade habitats. Using field work data we examine whether willingness to pay is influenced by biological neighboring riparian habitat how value alternative green areas, specifically golf courses. also explore relationship remote sensing vegetation indices. The results a hedonic analysis houses that sold within 0.2 miles 51 stratified-random selected survey sites reveals significantly quality negatively park-like features. Homebuyers are willing twenty percent more live near corridor densely vegetated contains shrub tree species, particularly species dependent on perennial water flow. These environmental premiums significant, outweighing structural factors such as an additional garage or swimming pool. Likewise, proximity with low course lowers property values.
