摘要: Abstract Lotus-type porous Mg–xMn (x=0, 1, 2 and 3 wt.%) alloys were fabricated by metal/gas eutectic unidirectional solidification (the Gasar process). The effects of Mn addition the fabrication process on porosity, pore diameter microstructure Mg−Mn alloy investigated. improved precipitates increased porosity diameter. With increasing hydrogen pressure from 0.1 to 0.6 MPa, overall Mg−2wt.%Mn ingot decreased 55.3% 38.4%, average also 2465 312 μm. Based a theoretical model change in with pressure, calculated results good agreement experimental results. It is shown that this technique promising method fabricate Mg–Mn uniform controllable structure.
