摘要: The expanding interest for using lignocellulosic biomass in industry spurred the study of mechanisms underlying plant cell-wall synthesis. Efforts genetic approaches allowed disentanglement major steps governing stem fibre Nonetheless, little is known about relations between maturation and evolution its proteome. During Medicago sativa L. maturation, different internodes grow asynchronously allowing discrimination various developmental stages on a same stem. In this study, proteome three selected regions alfalfa (apical, intermediate basal) was analyzed combined with compositional analysis parts. Interestingly, apical median share many similarities: high abundance chloroplast- mitochondrial-related proteins together accumulation acting early production. mature basal region, forisomes stress-related accumulate. RT-qPCR assessment expression genes coding members cellulose synthase family likewise indicates that fibres machinery responsible deposition secondary cell walls are predominantly formed section. Altogether, reflects metabolic change from production upper to acquisition defence-related functions fibrous part.
