摘要: The augmentation of activated sludge with two strains Pseudomonas putida, CP1 and A(a) was investigated. Both bacteria degraded 1.56 mM 4-chlorophenol. P. putida the chemical using a modified ortho-cleavage pathway while used meta-cleavage pathway. When incapable 4-chlorophenol degradation augmented either strain, substrate occurred followed same biochemical pathways as when were grown in pure culture. Insertion, tandem, genes for gentamycin resistance green fluorescent protein into chromosomes strains, enabled survival spatial location mixed microbial population to be monitored. Labelling did not alter their degradative capabilities. CP1::Tn7-gfp survived higher numbers than A(a)::Tn7-gfp following addition sludge. This attributed ability this strain flocculate become integrated floc. Addition or resulted smaller decreases total cell indicating protective effect introduced on overall from harmful effects non-flocculant survive well system required inoculum size degradation.
