摘要: Abstract We address the propagation and transformation of long internal breather-like wave in an idealised but realistic stratification conditions matching average summer southern part Baltic Sea. The focus is on changes properties breather when water depth increases coefficient at cubic nonlinear term its sign, equivalently, cannot exist anymore. simulations are performed parallel framework weakly Gardner equation using fully Euler equations. amplitudes breathers these frameworks have slightly different courses (when Earth's rotation neglected) whereas a decrease amplitude faster simulation. impact background (Earth's) substantially depends spectral width initial breather. evolution narrow-banded almost same for rotating non-rotating situations with wide spectrum experience substantial situation rotation. along path Sea over location where sign reveals fast disintegration into precursor soliton transient dispersive group.
