摘要: INTRODUCTION The clinical practice patterns and use of research evidence by Australian occupational therapists working with clients experiencing neurocognitive impairments has not been surveyed for nearly 10 years. This survey aimed to evaluate the current status therapy provide recommendations ongoing translation. METHODS An online in Australia was conducted over four months targeting registered clinicians adults impairments. RESULTS 191 from a wide range areas, significant level experience completed survey. Functional retraining (n = 180, 94%), compensatory training (n = 173, 91%) task/environmental modifications (n = 161, 84%) were most commonly reported intervention techniques, while more targeted interventions such as context-sensitive (n = 54, 28%), positive behaviour supports (n = 42, 22%) metacognitive strategy (n = 37, 19%) used less frequently. Half respondents aware suggested strategies supporting Traditional barriers limited time, access skills interpret also reported. CONCLUSION Consistent earlier surveys continue functional/compensatory approach cognitive rehabilitation, an increasing number using specialist interventions. challenge is embedding techniques into occupation-based intervention. Knowledge translation implementation will be critical component achieving this.
