摘要: Pesticides have been an essential part of agriculture to protect crops and livestock from pest infestations yield reduction for many decades. Despite their usefulness, pesticides could pose potential risks food safety the environment as well human health. This paper reviews positive benefits agricultural pesticide use some negative impacts on safety. In addition, using case California, we discuss need both residue monitoring effective management promote Twenty years' data California's program were analyzed. Results showed that more than 95% samples in compliance with US standards (tolerances). However, certain commodities sources had high percentages residues above tolerance levels. Even when levels detected, most at below 1 mg kg−1, posed negligible acute health risk. a few detected cause effects. Therefore, establishing is important ensure quality throughout marketplace.
