摘要: Abstract The reactions of platinum(II) complexes with thiol containing molecules are highly relevant to the mechanism action platinum-based drugs. This work presents electrospray mass spectrometry (ESMS) and NMR results on [Pt( l -MetH-S,N)Cl2] ( -MetH: -methionine) γ-glutathione (GSH) -cysteine -Cys) at different pH molar ratios. Polymeric species such as [Pt2(μ-SG-S)2(Met-S,N)2], [Pt3(μ-SG-S)4(Met-S,N)2], [Pt4(μ-SG-S)6(Met-S,N)2] [Pt5(μ-SG-S)8(Met-S,N)2] -Met: deprotonated were detected stable for long hours. For both reactions, polymerization extent decreased increase pH. reaction -Cys, only mononuclear complex -Met-S,N)( -Cys-S,N)] was observed when pH > 9. observation identification polymeric (higher than binuclear) adducts Pt(II)/GSH Pt(II)/ -Cys appears be unprecedented.
