摘要: Abstract The involvement of the hippocampal choline acetyltransferase (ChAT) activity in response to tonic pain was investigated rats injected with formalin, either 50 μ1 10% or 0.1%. Hippocampal ChAT found be reduced both 30 and 60 min after injection higher concentration formalin but only lower one. Results indicate that decrease depends upon presence nociceptive input rather than its magnitude. formation is involved specific behavioural pain, namely licking.
