摘要: The di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) is a plasticizer used in the polyvinyl chloride industry. Human exposure to this inevitable and contributes several side effects. In study, we examined whether DEHP induces apoptosis oxidative stress embryonic kidney cells (HEK-293) nuclear factor E2-related 2 (Nrf-2)/heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) antioxidant pathway involved pathogenesis of process. We demonstrated that cytotoxic HEK-293 cells. It causes damage through generation free radicals, lipid peroxidation, alters superoxide dismutase catalase activities. Simultaneously, treatment decreases expression protein level Nrf-2 HO-1. Inhibition Nrf-2/HO-1 related mitochondrial apoptosis. This apoptotic process characterized by loss transmembrane potential (ΔΨm) upregulation caspase-3 mRNA as well its level.
