摘要: Reactive astrocytes appear within days of a disturbance or injury to the brain. They form part gliotic scar tissue, which can take on very complex form, depending type and intensity disturbance. are usually characterized by morphological changes increases in intermediate filaments. However, other more functional characteristics not as well-characterized. In particular, glial interactions with surviving neurones well-defined. Some attention has been paid upregulation protective factors expression extracellular matrix, but membrane properties homeostatic mechanisms have received little regard. This is true for general, especially following ischemic injury.
