摘要: It has been reported that systemic administration of m-CPP (1-[3-chlorophenyl] piperazine hydrochloride), a 5-HT(2) receptor agonist, produces 5-HT(2C) receptor-mediated penile erections and self-grooming in rats. In the present study, we examined ability to induce ejaculation rats determined which subtypes may be involved m-CPP-induced ejaculation. The ejaculatory response was assessed by weighing seminal materials accumulated over 30 min. Experiment 1, (0.1-3.0 mg/kg, i.p.) produced dose-dependent increase both incidence weight materials. inverted U-shaped dose-response effects on erection genital grooming were also observed, with maximum at 0.6 mg/kg. Pretreatment SB242084 (0.1 0.3 i.p.), selective antagonist, dose-dependently attenuated induced (3.0 mg/kg). proejaculatory effect ketanserin (0.3 1.0 5-HT(2A) whereas SB204741 5-HT(2B) significantly potentiated response. Penile only blocked SB242084. 2 (termed as corset test), fitted thoracic level prevent loss grooming, more efficiently detected than non-fitted animals: ED(50) value for inducing reduced less 50% animals. this test, (0.6 completely or did not affect -induced From these observations, it is suggested agonist low doses (0.3-1.0 mg/kg) possesses well proerectile are primarily associated activation receptors, 5-HT2B receptors produce an inhibitory high dose m-CPP. Furthermore, results study indicate test employed useful detecting compounds.
