摘要: The Atraumatic restorative treatment (ART) was developed with the intention of restoring decayed teeth in locations where conventional not possible. In Brazil, this technique has been suggested on rolls SUS to students and places access is precarious. This article aims explain: advantages technique; indications; step by step. It can be concluded that: ART a broad social impact, reducing dental chair time, endodontics extractions, being easy apply both as without equipment. Its limitations relate size retention cavity, quality material especially low acceptance part dentist community.
