Atraumatic restorative treatment: a dental alternative well-received by children

摘要: The purpose of this study is to compare atraumatic restorative treatment (ART) with the conventional rotational method (CM) determine in both cases total time required for procedure, cost, presence pain, and behavior pediatric patients Peru. Of 30 children selected study, half received ART restoration glass ionomer cement other half, CM amalgam. parameters were times remove decayed tissue complete entire cost patient's during treatment. Significant differences found between two techniques all parameters, except behavior. Although removing was faster CM, procedure ART, which, moreover, significantly less expensive painful than CM. results indicated that a very good alternative due its low acceptance by children.
