摘要: The ionic basis of norepinephrine (NE) action was studied with intracellular recording techniques in the rat hippocampal slice. Topical application NE caused, CA1 neurons, a 3–4 mV hyperpolarization associated 10–20% decrease input resistance. This effect accompanied by spontaneous potential discharges and, some cells, reduction EPSPs produced stimulation excitatory Schaffer collateral-commissural pathway. An analysis voltage and concentration dependency revealed that may activate two different mechanisms. Experiments performed to test this hypothesis have demonstrated short duration hyperpolarizing still present low C1− medium. responses were absent ouabain-treated slices temperature. Cyclic AMP minimal changes cAMP blocked ouabain. IBMX potentiated concentrations NE. It is proposed activates mechanisms; one involves activation conductance other Na+-K+ pump. latter might be mediated cAMP.
