摘要: Ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) is a potent survival for several neuronal populations. It expressed postnatally by Schwann cells in the peripheral nervous system and some glial central system. We used promoter of neurofilament light chain gene to produce transgenic mice that express CNTF neurons from beginning differentiation. These animals may represent suitable model identify cell types responsive vivo study mechanism action this factor. show dorsal root ganglion expressing are protected apoptosis during embryonic development: 40% these undergo between day 12.5 postnatal 5 whereas 60% do so control animals.
