摘要: Ultraviolet and C 1s N X-ray photoelectron spectra of a ferromagnetic charge-transfer complex, TDAE−C60, where TDAE is tetrakis(dimethylamino)ethylene, have been measured. The appearance new peak above the highest occupied band C60 at 1.2 eV below Fermi level with onset 0.5 indicates that an electron transferred from to TDAE−C60 not metallic but semiconductive. core spectrum complex shows wide consisting two components, intensity higher binding energy one decreases under irradiation. observed components could be ascribed nitrogen atoms in TDAE0 TDAE2+ on basis electrostatic potential model combination CNDO/2 molecular orbital calculation. Possible charge density wave state along chain c-direction crystal has suggested.
