摘要: The cellular actions of VEGF need to be coordinated guide vascular patterning during sprouting angiogenesis. Individual endothelial tip cells lead and the blood vessel sprout, while neighbouring stalk proliferate form lumen. Recent studies illustrate how DLL4/NOTCH signalling, stimulated by VEGF, regulates response limiting cell formation in stalk. spatial distribution turn, shape ensuing sprout directing migration determining proliferation.
