摘要: A high ambient-contrast-ratio (A-CR) and large aperture-ratio display is conceptually demonstrated experimentally validated by stacking a normally black reflective liquid crystal (NB-RLCD) an organic light-emitting device (OLED). Such tandem can be switched between the NB-RLCD mode OLED under bright dark ambient light, respectively. The characteristic of RLCD also helps to boost A-CR OLED-mode operation.
