摘要: RTT is the only parameter available with TCP sender for estimating network capacity. Accordingly, legacy revises its sending rate utilizing maximum of capacity, without overloading. Since in wireless network, weakly correlated to congestion, any estimate using recent sample may lead performance penalty. This paper presents a simulation-based study two RTT-dependent mechanisms, targeting fair state classification by taking statistics into account. It demonstrated that scheme equipped one technique can be improved further tweaking other technique.
