摘要: Tadpoles of Xenopus laevis were maintained in solutions potassium perchlorate, thiocyanate, thiourea and propyl-thiouracil (0.005% w/v). Metamorphosis was inhibited within a short time large well-vascularized goitres developed. The localization certain phosphatases at the ultrastructural level these is described possible roles played by enzymes discussed. Acid phosphatase localized follicle epithelial cells dense droplets thought to be lysosomes or cytolysomes. Alkaline Mg++-activated ATP-ase found on outer surfaces membranes follicular walls capillary blood vessels.
