摘要: This article studies the new constitutions of Ecuador and Bolivia in order to determine what extent indigenous concepts democracy have been incorporated into these important documents. The research presented here suggests that there is a significant correlation between demands made by social movements over past two decades constitutional texts both countries, which essentially embrace alternative forms citizenship espoused movement groups. For many activists, changes open door they perceive as richer democracy.
