摘要: Eco-restoration projects can accomplish many environmental goals from cleaning up pollution to trail building or habitat creation. Many natural areas in urban and suburban cities towns face increasing pressure development. be a good way preserve enhance community green space ensure residents have access recreational restorative experiences. Several eco-restoration are currently being undertaken Bloomington, IN- invasive species removal native woodland restoration. This qualitative pilot study serves as an initial investigation into what kinds of benefits result student participation outdoor education via service learning Interview results showed that participants received social interacting with other peers, educational by applying classroom content real-world context, psychological doing meaningful work, developed strong sense stewardship they hoped promote the community.
