摘要: Nature-protective behavior cannot be sufficiently explained using a pure rational/cognitive approach. Therefore, in questionnaire study ( N = 281), the focus was on emotional motivations of this behavior, especially newly conceptu- alized construct: affinity toward nature. All constructs were measured by reliable and valid scales. Multiple regression analyses reveal that (a) affin - ity is as powerful to predict nature-protective indignation interest nature together these three predictors explain up 47% variance crite rion variables, (b) 39% traces back present past experiences natural environments. The resulting integrative path model discussed. Theoretical conclusions are drawn, options for practical intervention derived.
