摘要: Hexavalent chromium (Cr 6+ ) is a common and toxic pollutant in soils wastewaters. Conversion of the mobile Cr to less trivalent 3+ can be achieved with conventional chemical reduction its subsequent precipitation. Alternatively, also reduced by microorganisms has potential for application decontamination industrial effluents. During our studies on toxicity actinomycetes, strain Streptomyces griseus was found grow reduce highly from media containing 5-60 ppm . The concentration increased simultaneous decrease during growth complete conversion 3-4 days. Reduction faster when addition (especially high concentrations chromium) done after 24 h than at time inoculation. within 24-48 significant uptake biomass. resting cells effect various factors are discussed.
