摘要: Reindeer (Rangifer tarandus tarandus) are known to host a wide variety of parasites, including those in the gastrointestinal system. Here, we review current knowledge main parasites reindeer focusing on northern Fennoscandia, which comprises parts Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia. We explore both historical baseline data for diversity distribution recent advancements our understanding parasite faunas across this region. It is evident that balance between their along with potential emergent disease changing world warrants careful monitoring further studies.
