摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses green fluorescent protein (GFP)-fusion proteins as reporters to study organelle and cytoskeleton dynamics in chemotaxis phagocytosis. GFP has become an invaluable tool label living cells investigate the redistribution of these response external signals. The normal localization a GFP-fusion can be checked by comparison with antibody labeling endogenous fixed cells. Normal function is established rescue wild-type phenotype mutants that lack corresponding protein. In cell, activity may go through optimum, such might have positive or negative effect depending on degree its over expression. There particularly high incidence cases which addition tag affects translocated membrane, polymerizes, prone interact series other proteins.
