Lista sistemática de la ictiofauna de Bahía de Banderas, México

摘要: The Bahia de Banderas, located in the central Mexican Pacifi c, has a large diversity of fi sh species, which is described for rst time present systematic checklist, includes total 210 belonging to 145 genera and 74 families. 205 species were collected between 1997 1998, remaining ve observed positively identifi ed but not captured. results show an important tropical component (117) over temperate one (7), rest (76) with wide distribution along eastern c Ocean. best represented families by number were: Carangidae (19), Haemulidae (16), Sciaenidae (13), Serranidae (11) Paralichthyidae (8). Accordingly recent bibliographic records, eleven reported here have extended their known range Banderas.
