摘要: In the past 10 years, there has been significant progress in our understanding of clinical problem restenosis following balloon angioplasty. This is due to a combined approach determine pathophysiology and complex biologic mechanisms that contribute introduction use measurement systems documenting assessing process. It should be recalled early angioplasty years (1980-1985), angiographic assessment was entirely on categorical basis, value follow-up questionnable cardiologists were largely unaware quantitative angiography. Although coronary angiography (QCA) predominantly research tool interventional cardiology, it raised standards practice from purely “an art” more scientific level can evaluated by evidence-based medicine. QCA altered perceptions served as gold standard for comparing therapies (drugs devices).
