摘要: In the paper are discussed likely causes of collapse and temporary safety features adopted to secure a collapsed portion Historic Walls city Pistoia (Italy). The walls medieval origin, affected by various subsequent modifications alterations, have been subjected sudden collapse, after period heavy rain, for length about 25 meters. Hereby described probable due poor quality (external facades with external layer made up river pebbles inner filling material in-coherent), height building is not modest (approximately eleven meters), significant differential in between two faces (about four meters) unlikely rotation base. It proposed technique reinforcement system steel tie-beams braces view work reconstruction partially consolidation lateral parts wall.
