摘要: This study estimated the mechanical response of cochlea to pulsatile electrical stimulation scala tympani cat. The auditory nerve compound action potential evoked by an acoustic probe was forward-masked a train charge-balanced biphasic current pulses. Masking as function frequency reflected excitation pattern masker and resembled spectrum stimulus. Both pulse rate width influenced degree masking. vibration region basilar membrane recording local cochlear microphonic amplitude proportional spectral component stimulus which tuned. These results are consistent with generation
