摘要: Rare earth elements can promote photosynthesis, but their mechanisms are still poorly understood under magnesium deficiency. The present study was designed to determine the role of cerium in magnesium-deficient maize plants. Maize cultivated Hoagland’s solution added with and without adequate quantities magnesium. Under conditions, prevents inhibition synthesis photosynthetic pigment, improves light energy absorption conversion, oxygen evolution, activity photo-phosphorelation its coupling factor Ca2+-ATPase. These results suggest that could partly substitute magnesium, improving photosynthesis plant growth.
