摘要: Purpose. To compare the change in aberrations produced by laser-assisted situ keratomileusis (LASIK) measured either front surface corneal aberrometry or Hartmann-Shack whole-eye aberrometry. Methods. This was a retrospective case series from consecutive patients treated with LASIK at London Vision Clinic, London, UK. Corneal and ocular wavefront data were collected before after for myopia hyperopia. control centration of aberration measurements, only pupil offset (measured as distance between vertex entrance center) 0.25 mm less recruited. obtained Placido-based topography system (Atlas), (WASCA) least 3 months surgery. All calculated up to fourth order 6-mm diameter. Change HORMS (higher-order root mean square [RMS]) all individual Zernike coefficients second compared. Results. One hundred myopic eyes 50 hyperopic included analysis. For LASIK, differed on average 0.077 Km HORMS, 0.024 secondary astigmatism, 0.065 spherical (p e 0.003). there no statistically significant difference third- fourth-order Q 0.034). However, 0.095 greater than that < 0.001). Conclusions. study demonstrated when measuring higher-order induced measurement not interchangeable (Optom Vis Sci 2015;92:00Y00)
