摘要: Abstract : To provide scientific direction for the Nearshore Partnership in its planning phase, Science Team (NST) sought to more clearly define role and position of input into large restoration programs such as Puget Sound Ecosystem Restoration Program. accomplish their objective, NST conducted a "lessons learned" exercise characterize science five large-scale beyond Pacific Northwest: Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP), Comprehensive Everglades Plan (CERP), California Bay-Delta Authority (CALFED), Glen Canyon Adaptive Management (GCAMP), Louisiana Coastal Areas (LCA). The suggests that efficiently effectively using science, foundation making decisions will greatly improve program's ability successfully conceptualize, design, implement efforts long-term.
