摘要: Accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) is an ultra-sensitive technique for isotopic ratio measurements. In the biomedical field, AMS can be used to measure femtomolar concentrations of labeled drugs in body fluids, with direct applications early drug development such as Microdosing. Likewise, regenerative properties cells which are fundamental significance stem-cell research determined accuracy a few years by analysis human DNA. However, nominally requires about 1 mg carbon per sample not always available when dealing specific substances localized, organ-specific DNA samples. Consequently, it analytical interest develop methods routine small samples range tens microg. We have 5 MV Pelletron tandem accelerator study biological using AMS. Different presented and compared. A (12)C-carrier preparation method described potentially more sensitive less susceptible contamination than standard procedures.
