摘要: We propose that the ability to be consciously aware of one’s own and others’ emotions is a unique human capacity. Emotion may divided into implicit (visceromotor somatomotor) explicit (conscious feeling reflective awareness) components. Based on brain model emotional processing an evolutionary perspective frontal lobe cognition, it proposed emotion has visceromotor somatomotor foundation likely shared with other mammals. What cognition engage in intensions collaborative activities, which includes species-unique motivation share emotions, experiences activities persons. The capacity for (knowing you person are experiencing same feelings) requires mediation by mentalizing network medial prefrontal cortex. review evidence humans appear being able reflect upon their generate complex range differentiated experiences, appreciate complexity people, intentionally knowingly people. However, individual differences this among people considerable. Although awareness promotes self-regulation adapative social behavior, impairments function can lead isolation, mental illness adverse physical health consequences. emotionally cortex (BA10), structure far more developed than species, but also advantageous ontogenetic experiences. Such include particular type (accurate cognitive empathy) parents caretakers, mediated part cortical structure, order full realized.
